The CMAT or Common Management Admission Test is an online entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBA/PGDM courses in over 1000 B-schools across India. CMAT is conducted in online mode in various cities across India. The duration of the exam is three hours within which the candidates are required to answer 100 questions from Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. CMAT 2020 is one of the important national level MBA entrance exams for admission to more than 600 MBA colleges in India. Common Management Admission Test – CMAT 2020 exam date is January 24, 2020. The CMAT 2020 will be conducted by the newly created testing agency for higher education – The National Testing Agency (NTA) instead of AICTE. CMAT entrance exam is online computer based test of three hours duration. The NTA- CMAT will be held in two shifts on Friday January 24, 2020. The first shift of CMAT 2020 exam will be from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM and the second shift of CMAT 2020 exam is scheduled from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM. There is no change in the CMAT 2020 exam structure which will have 100 questions equally divided into 4 sections of 25 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in each section.

CMAT Eligibility Criteria

  • The CMAT 2019 aspirant must have completed Graduation in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized university
  • Final year Graduation students (10+2+3) are also eligible to apply for CMAT, provided their results are declared before commencement of admission for 2019

A: The CMAT is held once a year in the month of January. The exam is conducted at various exam centres across 75 cities in India. You could choose the test city according to your preference.

A: CMAT exam is conducted online. The candidates need to have working knowledge of computers to be able to sail through the exam smoothly.

A. You can attempt CMAT exam any number of times. However, score of the last CMAT exam will be taken into account at the time of admission.

A. Validity of CMAT score is one year. If you miss the academic session in which you appeared for CMAT, you will have to apply for it again next year.
